Fun-a-day

 All this January, I'll be taking part in  Fun-a-day Montreal (can see the facebook group here). The premise is simple: pick a project, do it every day in January, then show your work the following month in a big group show. 

I'll be doing a portrait-a-day.

So far so good... though I have to break out of the habit of being too shy to ask people I don't know so well if I can draw them (so have so many self portraits and pictures of Phil!). I've also got into the bad habit (already!) of leaving it late in the day so end up drawing, yet again, myself or Phil.
Anyway here are a few I like:

I like the bamboo tablet. It grants me a new sense of freedom... it's quick and if I don't like something: Cmd+Alt+Z. Erased.
Bright bold colours.

Anyway, I'm in a good mood but somehow this popped out. (?) I started drawing the eye and then...
